Hand Drawn SYMBOLS Cross in doublelined box

This cross symbol will either be double lined or if single lined will be drawn within a box.

On some maps they used the double lined cross just as they used the Tobias symbol except that the double lines would give two instructions.

Directions to travel, if it was used this way, two seperate numbers would be tied to the cross.

If a cross is vertical (standing) on a map and off to the top or side of the map it would mean one of two things;

1. North is to the bottom of the page.
2. When three circles are adjoining the three short arms North is down.
3. A cross that is carved in the area of a mine on a boulder or rock wall points to the mine shrine if it is angled.
