Old Hall Pottery, Hanley Staffordshire Potteries 1861-July 1866. Formerly Charles Meigh & Son. Subsequently old Hall Porcelain Works. This company was the first limited liability company in the Staffordshire Potteries and was incorporated In March 1861. Job Meigh established a pottery in 1790 at the Old Hall, Hanley and was succeeded by his son and grandson, both names Charles, until 1861 when the business was converted to a company “The Old Hall Earthenware Co.”
